Both use conduction heating, a 0.25 g oven and a simple one-button interface, so the overall feel will be familiar if you have used the first Mini.
The differences sit in the details. The original Pax Mini runs on a single smart session profile with no manual temperature control. The Pax Mini 2 adds four preset temperature levels, so you can pick lighter flavour-focused sessions or denser vapour without needing an app or menus. This makes it easier to tune the experience to different herbs or situations while still staying very simple to use.
The charging system has also been updated.
